The purpose of the Broken Mic Music Blog is to spread word about some of Cincinnati’s greatest, independent, unsigned bands. But it doesn’t just stop with Cincinnati. In fact, I hope to spread word about bands from all over the world, across the entire world. For as long as I can remember, music has been a huge part of my life, and as a fan, I’ve always felt it was my duty to get their name out there, in whatever way possible. That’s where the creation of this blog comes into play. In just five months time, readers from eighty-five different countries from across the world have stopped by this blog. Surely, some of them have discovered a new band. If you have come to this blog, and seen something posted on a band that you just discovered here, and you now like that band, I’d love to hear from you. I’d love to be able to track any bands who are getting a following in a different country, especially outside of the United States, even if they may have just added only one fan from somewhere around the world. Slowly but surely, we can help these bands in our own ways, and I’m just doing my part. Also, if anyone out there wants to let me in on a band I should know about, I would definitely love to hear from you.
