Bonnaroo Lineup Clue Solved
January 20th, 2010
Posted in Bonnaroo 2010 Lineup Clues
The first clue regarding an artist for this year’s Bonnaroo Music Festival has been solved. Beginning every January, DJ JD Farmhound of Radio Bonnaroo starts spitting out mind boggling riddles on the air, to get the devoted Bonnaroo fans talking amongst themselves. Be careful though; some of the clues mean nothing and are attempt to throw us off. A few years back, they decided to start throwing these clues out there, which have certainly stirred things up a bit, generating the most buzz of all the summer music festivals. Bonnaroo sponsors Superfly Productions and AC Entertainment and DJ JD are watching our trying attempts to figure out whose on the yearly lineup, and they’re just eating and laughing it up (I would assume). Onto what was clue number one…
Clue #1: “The one monkey who was the warmest and his offspring”
Answer: Ingrid Michaelson
Explanation: You often have to use alternate spellings or synonyms of certain words in the clues. But you never know exactly where (of if) to do this. One lucky Inforooster did just that with this clue. They thought of the band, The Monkees. The warmest Monkee would be Michael Nesmith, because of his trademark wool hat. As for offspring, an alternate word would be “son.” So in order for this clue to work, they took his first name (Michael) and added the offspring part (son). That gives you Michaelson. Thus, indie pop singer Ingrid Michaelson.
