Local Musicians Pay Tribute to Woodstock with Rohsstock
August 12th, 2009
Posted in Local Music
This weekend marks the 40th anniversary of the historical Woodstock Music Festival, and there’s sure to be a number of events in the area celebrating the fact. One of those events is called Rohsstock. You guessed it – it’s taking place at Rohs Street Cafe in University Heights. Benefiting the Women’s Connection, this night of music will feature several of the area’s best musicians, each playing one song from the original Woodstock, on top of their own songs. Those artists include singer/songwriter’s Ryan Adcock, Greg Mahan, Brian Ewing and Chris Collier, Americana/Roots bands Mike Fair & the Adventure Seekers and Uncle Smoking Joe & the Solid Pack and rock, pop and soul band the Beau Alquizola Band. The show starts at 7 pm with tickets at $5.
